Calculating vehicle axle weights is straightforward AxleCheck. Enter Steer, Tractor, and Total weights to get your axle weight results.
About AxleCheck
The app is for calculating axle weights for truck drivers that weigh on full length scales. First the Steer axle weight is inputted, then the tractor weight is inputted, then the entire vehicle weight is inputted, the app then calculates each axle weight, i.e. Steer weight, Drives axle weight, and Tandem axle weight.
It displays the weights in Green, Yellow, and Red. Green is good, Yellow is close to limit, Red is overweight/Limit.
This eliminates the need to do the math to calculate the axle weight distribution.
The AxleCheck App does the math for you, so there is no chance of a mathematical error, just be sure to enter the values correctly, and AxleCheck will do the rest.
The AxleCheck App, also comes with a calculator to help to figure out how many notches to move the Fifth Wheel, or how many notches to move the Tandems.
Fifth Wheel Per Notch
5th wheel is about 100-150 lbs per notch
Tandem Per Notch
Tandem Weight change per notch
Around 250, depending on how load is situated on trailer, could be a little higher or lower.
!! These weights are approximate, always reweigh after changing. !!
!! Tractor and Trailer manufactures are different, always double check your work. !!
